Executive Committee IFAS aims to develop regular and close cooperation with International community in order to achieve support in the implementation of its activities. From May 2009 EC IFAS is working with the organizations of the UN system and other International organizations, Financial Institutes, foreign Governmental and Non-governmental organizations.

EC IFAS and the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) intensively cooperate within the strategic development areas in partnership with the German International Cooperation (GIZ), the International Office for Water, the International Water Assessment Centre, the French Global Environment Facility, the Governments of Finland, Russia
