22.10.2010

The Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan ratified an intergovernmental agreement between Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan on the status of the International Fund for saving the Aral Sea (IFAS) and its organizations.

This document on the status of an international organization is designed to strengthen the legal framework for implementation of the tasks set by the Heads of States IFAS in April 2009.

The status of the international organization exempts the International Fund for saving the Aral Sea from payment of customs duties and taxes.
